CPT News Release: Franchising not the route to better bus services
The voice of bus and coach operators has said that Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s plan to franchise bus services is not the route to improved services and risks local taxpayers funding any revenue shortfall.

Newsline Special: PSVAR update
Further to recent updates regarding PSVAR and school services, we can now advise that following discussions with the Department for Transport (DfT), ministers have agreed to grant temporary exemptions until 31 July to operators of school services procured by schools and colleges on which most children pay a fare.
